Ammar Hayat holds bachelors, with honors degree in Human Resource, from the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada. Currently, he is pursuing an M.Phil. degree in Public Policy at University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. At UofT, he had an opportunity to study theoretical concepts of social constructivism in international relations and political science. At UofT, Ammar was also conferred the best labour policy arbitration award by Woodsworth College. His research areas of focus in BIPP include governance, institution building and capacity strengthening, agriculture and rural development, policy and planning, and politics and development nexus in Pakistan.
